Description

Showing roman marching and camp equipement to public during small event with Legio XIII in Austrian town Tulln on Danube river to the west of Wien (during Roman times frontier fort Commagena with cavalry Ala I Commagena). I have on my shoulders roman military baggage - furca (wooden cross), pera (leather "notebook" bag), simple leather bag, string bag with my wooden bowls and member of Legio XIII showing my field leather bottel. I have my new pompeii gladius, two crossed military belts, pugio and hand-woven and sewn tunic and my old caligae (reconstruction of mainz caliagae).
